In many ways, The Siege #2 is a great snapshot of modern day comic book battles. If you compare The Siege to 1984′s Secret Wars, Secret Wars looks tame. There’s no doubt that Bendis knows what the young audience (teens and early 20′s) wants. Obviously older fans would be completely put off.
