Why is the official home of Dream Seeker books written by Damian Hospital and Tony Vahl called the REALDreamSeeker.com? Well, first and foremost someone else had previously purchased dreamseeker.com and he or she is just sitting on it. They could be speculators who buy domain names and try to sell them at a higher price. My buddy Sean did that back in the early 2000s when GoDaddy started it all. Or they could be genuine people who simply never got around to using the domain yet.
The second reason is that Damian and Tony want to distinguish their Dream Seeker books from from Dream Seeker Magazine and their Dream Seeker imprint. They also want to want to make sure people know that their Dream Seeker books preceded another book called Dream Seeker novel by over 5 years. When that author was contacted by Mr. Vahl, he said he did a search and didn’t see any conflicts. For the record, Hospital and Vahl’s Dream Seeker Universe website has been up and running for years, and solidly on Page 1 in Google. These are just facts, you can make your own judgements. Again, the record speaks for itself: Damian and Tony’s Dream Seeker books were sent to the patent office a long, long time ago. Older websites include http://www.geocities.ws/damianhospital/dreamseeker_universe.htm and http://dailyskew.com/dreamseeker_universe.htm. There’s no question as to which Dream Seeker book came first, and you can read the original Dream Seeker book at realdreamseeker.com.
The third reason also has to do with identification: Hospital and Vahl’s Dream Seeker books have nothing to do with the Dream Seeker yacht or Dream Seeker Estates- which after clicking their About Us page, I still have no idea what they are selling. The two authors don’t know the musicians that produced The Dream Seeker-Dragon Land song, although I suspect Orlando’s #1 underground rock-star Zane Black would like their music on YouTube. (Damian has denied having any involvement with the photos of a hot Asian woman on Flickr called The Dream Seeker, but who knows?)
The two authors are not part of Dream Seeker Productions, which create iPhone music apps. Nor are they affiliated with Brielle Public Library’s Dream Seeker program, Dream Seeker Adventures for kids, or Dream Seeker ranch.
And those other Dream Seekers were only from the first TWO pages in Google.
Oh, and the VERY last reason is that Tony and Damian named the site REALDreamSeeker.com has to do with two 1980s cartoons. I’ll let the message board mutants from sitcomsonline.com discuss:
“Who here was a kid in the 80′s and remembers the two seperate Ghostbuster cartoons that aired? The “Real” Ghostbusters was the better cartoon because it stayed true to the movie. The other was horrible”
“I wasn’t a little kid when it aired I was a bit older, but I was still watching cartoons and just hated The “Fake” Ghostbusters. lol”
“I did watch both cartoons when I was younger. I didn’t like Flimation’s Ghostbusters because in my opinion it wasn’t that funny and a bit boring as well. That’s why I prefer the Real Ghostbusters over the “fake” ghostbusters. RGB was well written and had awesome story lines. So that is my favorite.”
“I watched both shows when I was a kid. Looking back, both were pretty entertaining shows but the The “Real” Ghostbusters had better animation and better storylines.“
So what is the REAL Dream Seeker about?
It’s the central hub for information, storylines, and details about the REAL Dream Seeker books. The saga is over three books, and a fourth one is coming just in time before we all die on December 21, 2012.
You can easily contact the authors from there, check out the Dream Seeker forums, character profiles, and news releases.
