Ministry of Truth News- On the heels of the Libyan leader Omar Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam, state television address in which he claimed Libya is not amidst of a revolution, a media watchdog group has noted the similiarites between Saif al-Islam’s physical appearance with the DailySkew’s co-founder Damian H, as well as Saif al-Islam’s incoherent sentences.
“Somehow, they finally did it,” claimed Mark Rosenthal, founder of Skew Watch, a not-for-profit watchdog organization. “The DailySkew somehow tapped into Libya’s TV feed and Damian streamed live from his room in Florida.”
“I mean how else could you explain ‘Gaddafi’s son’ denying that there is a Libyan revolution, unrest was started by drunkards, that citizens were not being shot down with machine guns, and that ‘there was nothing to see or hear, keeping moving’?”
“And the funny thing is that some people actually believe ‘Saif al-Islam’ is a moderate because he is wearing suit and eyeglasses.”
Rosenthal said he realized it was a DailySkew parody right from the beginning.
“Well, I obviously know what Damian looks like, but the fact that he did the Finger Point ™ and had a 1970′s map in the background were the final straws.”
Skew Watch’s translator, Antonio Ronaldson, said that the scrolling Arabic at the bottom of the screen “was fake”.
“It seemed to random, incomplete, and broken copy-and-pasted words and sentences from various webpages,” Ronaldson said.
DailySkew co-founder Damian H. could not be reached for a comment.
His partner Tony Vahl would neither confirm nor deny the allegations.
