It is being reported that a North Korean submarine torpedo attack on a South Korean ship is the cause but I am sure there are some conspiracy nuts who think it might have been an American submarine torpedo attack on the South Korean ship in a conspiracy to provoke war between North Korea and South Korea and give the United States a legitimate excuse to destroy the North Korean nuclear threat and depose Kim Jong-il when war breaks out. Who knows what the truth is anymore?

TIL (from Wikipedia: “The Kŭmgangsan Tourist Region is thought to be one way for the North Korean government to receive hard currency from abroad. Therefore the official currency of the tour is neither the South Korean won nor the North Korean won, but the US Dollar.”
