Download Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow and REVIEW

Okay so you’ve heard Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow on the radio, although it may have been the Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow David Guetta remix, and you liked it. So just follow this link to Boom Boom Pow and download Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow and enjoy it on your MP3 player or iPod or computer or whatever. This group usually makes catchy songs, and this one is definitely catchy. Let’s do the DailySkew Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow review.

The Good
  • Cybertron is mentioned. Just sayin’.
  • Anyone born 1998 + loves this song.
  • BEP rules, everyone knows that.
  • Just a catchy tune.
  • Fergie is really into it vocally. She’s really feelin’ it.
The Bad
  • More of a sign of the times- the pop song itself has no intristical value or deep meaning. I guess Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow is all about how cool their beats are and how their sounds are futuristic. The only catch- Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow doesn’t sound like it’s the year 3008- it sounds like 1998. Just sayin’. Seriously. I expect to see my old buddy DJ Sean Hughes with his spiked hair cut remixing this at a night club in Orlando in 1995. I mean what new technology or sounds are being used in Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow or in any of their songs on the new album E.N.D.?
  • The actual Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow video looks about as modern as Max Headroom or the T2 villain in 2009. Where’s the Mortal Kombat crew?
Here’s what a music enthusiast online said about Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow:
That a band can write a couple of 8 note melodies, put some drums on, a stupid synth and then repeat for 3 minutes and it becomes a well recieved single!

Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow lyrics:
Anyway, without the chorus that repeats for 3 minutes, here are the Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow lyrics with my comments:
Yo, I got that hit that beat the block
You can get that bass overload
I got the that rock and roll
That future flow

[Sounds like a free style song from Brooklyn. Oh, and rock and roll is a future flow?]

That digital spit
Next level visual shit
I got that boom boom pow
How the beat bang, boom boom pow

[I like "digital spit" and "next level visual sh--]

I like that boom boom pow
Them chickens jackin’ my style
They try copy my swagger
I’m on that next shit now

[I like how "swagger" is now a cool word. WWE fans already know about Jack Swagger.]

I’m so 3008
You so 2000 and late
I got that boom, boom, boom
That future boom, boom, boom
Let me get it now

[Most memorable line of the song, and one surely to be remembered- "I'm so 3008 you so 2000 and late"

I'm on the supersonic boom
Y'all hear the spaceship zoom
When, when I step inside the room
Them girls go ape-shit, uh

[At this point talking about supersonic booms and spaceships sounds like early 1980's Space Mountain imagery]

Y’all stuck on Super 8 shit
That low-fi stupid 8 bit
I’m on that HD flat
This beat go boom boom bap

[I had to look up Super 8 to find out it was film from 1965. Does that mean I am more cool than BEP that I didn't know what old technology is? I mean if they so cool how come they know what Super 8 be? Anyway, I like attack of "stupid 8 bit" Nintendo songs. I also like how great they consider HD flat to be, like anyone is going to know what HD flat screen TVs are in 20 years.]

I’m a beast when you turn me on
Into the future cybertron
Harder, faster, better, stronger
Sexy ladies extra longer

[Don't really get why cyberton is mention here or if he even is talking about The Transformers, but I'll take it. By the when I listen to the song it sounds like he is saying "text the ladies extra longer"- I though that was much more futuristic.]

‘Cause we got the beat that bounce
We got the beat that pound
We got the beat that 808
That the boom, boom in your town

[Had to look up "808"- it's a penal code for distrubiing the peace. 'nuff said.]

People in the place
If you wanna get down
Put your hands in the air
Will.i.am drop the beat now

Yup, yup
I be rockin’ them beats, yup, yup
I be rockin’ them beats, y-y-yup, yup

[No comment here]

Here we go, here we go, satellite radio
Y’all gettin’ hit with boom boom
Beats so big I’m steppin’ on leprechauns
Shittin’ on y’all with the boom boom

[I like the satellite radio line because it sounds like he's just dropping keywords now. Leprechauns are not cool, however.]

Shittin’ on y’all you with the boom boom
Shittin’ on y’all you with the

This beat be bumpin’, bumpin’
This beat go boom, boom

Let the beat rock

[Once again very 1990's ish or early 2000's sorry teenagers.]
