The Bad

More of a sign of the times- the pop song itself has no intristical value or deep meaning. I guess Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow is all about how cool their beats are and how their sounds are futuristic. The only catch- Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow doesn’t sound like it’s the year 3008- it sounds like 1998. Just sayin’. Seriously. I expect to see my old buddy DJ Sean Hughes with his spiked hair cut remixing this at a night club in Orlando in 1995. I mean what new technology or sounds are being used in Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow or in any of their songs on the new album E.N.D.?
The actual Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow video looks about as modern as Max Headroom or the T2 villain in 2009. Where’s the Mortal Kombat crew?

I also like how great they consider HD flat to be, like anyone is going to know what HD flat screen TVs are in 20 years.]
