DIXVILLE NOTCH, N.H. – Barack Obama came up a big winner in the presidential race in Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location, N.H., where tradition of having the first ballots tallied lives on.
Democrat Obama defeated Republican John McCain by a count of 15 to 6 in Dixville Notch, where a loud whoop accompanied the announcement in Tuesday’s first minutes.
So…that’s a wrap.
Now, here’s a very important message:
I’ve been seeing a trend of animal abuse in the world for some time, and I’m tired of it.
From some jerk who purposely ran over baby ducks crossing the street while the other cars stopped (he got a $1,000 fine…big deal), to two punks taking rocks to the head and eye’s of the world’s oldest flamingo at a zoo…
This morning I saw the crushed body of a duck that lived in my townhouse community. I’ve been keeping an eye on that duck for a while..one day it flew on somebody’s roof..another day it was playing with its family…and now some piece of crap human ran him over in the drive way.
The hurt and rage is too much for me. Those humans who decide to hurt animals will get what’s coming to them one day via karma.
