Pirates caught red-handed by one of England’s warships after trying to hijack a cargo ship off the coast of Somalia actually opened fire on two Royal Navy ships. The Brits were armed with machine guns and SA80 rifles, and took care of business.
Interestingly enough, the Somalian pirates had a Yemeni-registered boat, and one of the pirates was from Yemen.
Great Britain’s HMS Cumberland is part of an anti-piracy patrol from Nato’s maritime force.
They are taking initiative to make the seas a safer place for travel.
