Leryn Franco and the German Olympic Playboy
The MEDIA really has been covering the 2008 Summer Olympics intensely. And since everyone has short attention spans and bad memories, no one realizes that these same themes and coverage have been present for every Olympics. It’s a copy editor’s dream- just plug new names in the same old retreaded stories.
Take an Olympic athlete posing in Playboy. Or a hot female athlete. Who cares? Many former Olympic athletes have profited because of their fame, including announcers. There are many beautiful female athletes today. What difference does it make it athletes are hired because of their looks?
And…I hate to sound like a cynic, but a woman is a woman. We’re not going to be seeing anything we haven’t seen before. Been there, done that. Yawn. Pass.
