Obama International Tour
I don't mean to rip Obama or accuse him of being arrogant or anything, but I have an innocent question: how long has this tradition of presidential part candidates giving speeches in other countries been around?
Obama is going to be giving speeches and making appearances in Jordan, Israel, Germany, France and England. Last time I checked other countries can't vote in November's US Presidential Election.
Is he auditioning? Practicing? Looking for good PR shots? Making him look like a legitamate World Leader (tm)? Stroking the ego a bit?
You do realize protocol dictates that he cannot bash President Bush during these speeches? You realize that he You do realize that his change platform is a gimmick by now, right? Everything suggests that continuity set up by Bush and his cronies will guide our foreign policy even if Obama wins and the Democrats take charge.
Here are some things Obama has changed his views on. Seems like the more things "change", the more they stay the same.
