Help cure and treat Alzheimer's Disease
By now it's very possible you have lost or known someone suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. Just this year, an old family friend of mine named Bernie passed on. My close friend Gary's dad passed away this year, too. My partner at work Danny lost his father, who suffered from this horrible disease, too. It is a tragic and slow disease that shatters the memories of the vibrant people. That's why I'd like to let everyone know about the Alzheimer's Memory Walk, which raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support, and research. I'm sure you've seen these 2-3 mile walks. Well, every community is looking for team captains and volunteers. It's pretty simple- yet important- and is held on a weekend morning this fall.
