Tim Russert died overweight heart attack
SMOKER? Check.
DIABETIC? Check
OVERWEIGHT? Check
WORKAHOLIC? Check
TRAVELED A LOT? Check.
OVER 50 YEARS OLD? Check.
PRONE TO OUTBURSTS? Check.
ADDICTED TO POLITICS? Check.
FRUSTRATED OVER THE STATE OF THE WORLD? Check.
Why is everyone shocked that a 58-year old man died with these symptoms? A lot of people I’ve spoken with ask me, “How can a man just drop dead?” Read the above, and my previous Tim Russert post to find out.
I just want to clarify that I liked Russert, and found him very enlightening, but he was clearly addicted to politics. Politics = sports…really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

just based on that clip you

was the best choice for president
and that tim russet
totally had made his mind up

I AGREE THAT TIM RUSSERT TOOK POLITICS TOO SERIOUSLY AND WORKED TOO HARD.
People fear their own mortality. The death of an Icon like Russert brings out that fear.
People are afraid of being parted from their Double cheeseburger.

My only question to the karmic wheel is why couldnt it have been limbaugh instead,who was far more deserving.
personally, i think god was aiming for limbaugh with his snipers rifle and missed.
Limbaugh checklist:
SMOKER? Cigars only. Quit Cigarettes years ago.
DIABETIC? Not that I’m aware of.
OVERWEIGHT? Known for gaining and losing weight, ala Oprah. Not consistently heavy, like Russert.
WORKAHOLIC? You call that working? Russert yelled more than Limbaugh. And with Rush repeating meditative-like phrases that he repeats constantly (“Golden EIB Microphone”, “El Rushbo”, “Half my brain tied behind my back”, “Attila the Hun chair”, etc), he’s probably more relaxed. Remember Rush is doing a Bill Buckley impersonation — and Buckley lived into his 80′s being overweight.
TRAVELED A LOT? Yeah, on his private jet. I don’t get the impression his mode of travel stresses him out.
OVER 50 YEARS OLD? Check.
PRONE TO OUTBURSTS? Not as passionate as Russert.
ADDICTED TO POLITICS? Check.
FRUSTRATED OVER THE STATE OF THE WORLD? Eh. Not buyin’ his frustration over the state of the world. If anything, Rush reminds me sometimes of a Zig Ziglar-type, trying to be positive when callers express their frustration over things. He’ll say things like, “Don’t participate in the recession,” as if some people have a choice. He loves to promote the BS of a motivational speaker when he gets negative calls. I don’t sense Russert having that same attitude.
Tobacco pushers kill again! Guilty of the murder of 5,000,000 addicts and hundreds of thousands of INNOCENT people (who breathed toxic tobacco smoke) around the world every year. Ban smoking everywhere, then ban the tobacco drug. THEN, put the tobacco pushers to death. You’re welcome.
I was shocked Tim Russert died so suddenly. I am also shocked that Iowa is flooded.
perhaps the two are connected.
It could be that the life-force of Tim Russert on this material plane was somehow keeping Iowa from being flooded, and when he passed on it ushered in some kind of energy imbalance that caused a geological shift in the environment.
I will be conducting further research in order to determine this for certain.
