From Hollywood Mogul to Murderer
Yet another fatal car crash occurred this weekend, as Roger Avary, who is a Hollywood screenwriter and producer was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence after a passenger, Andreas Zedini, in his car died. Roger’s wife was injured in the car wreck, as well.
Once again, it’s amazing how people think they can drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs and believe that they can get home in one piece. Once again, another life is lost. I mean, look, Roger Avary and Jim Leyritz have money to hire a cab or get a designated driver, but they chose not to. You would think harsher penalties would exist or some other method we can use to “encourage” people to not DWI.
Anyone have any ideas?
