MOT: Tashman Technologies Mishap...Again

Gleaned off the Ministry of Truth National Radio.

“I don’t understand how this could possibly happen…let alone twice!” said Tashman Technologies spokesman Richard Shepard, about the recent accidents that have seemed to plague the company.

“We are working with new technologies here. Sometimes things just don’t go as expected.”

On January 8th of 2008, a Matter/Antimatter Particulate Laser transporter mysteriously turned on and disintegrated the Experimental Technologies and Information Technologies section of the Tashman Technologies building located on the moon. The remains of the building and occupants then rained down over parts of Australia as they rematerialized in high orbit above the continent.

A week later during the investigation the laser once again activated disintegrating a half mile long by 2 meter wide section of the main headquarters and adjacent office buildings. Thirteen people were reported dead. Five are missing and 46 were hospitalized with multiple life threatening to non-life threatening injuries.

“In this field, you learn to live with the unexpected. Sometimes [censored] happens and lives are lost. We can only offer our deepest condolences to the people and families involved. And we will do everything in our capabilities to make amends.”

The defunct Laser has since been dismantled and construction has commenced on the Tashman Technologies building.

On an unrelated note, C.E.O. has just began a week long tour of the Eurpoean coastline.
This is Susan Martindale, reporting for the MOT News Networks.

That laser reminds me of the anti-matter in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Thanks, Candy, and boy, just when you'd thought you'd seen it all! It's raining Tashman here in Australia.

Seriously. It is raining body parts and building ... please, stay indoors, preferably under a desk.

FOUR things you’d like your CEO to say:

1. “I don’t know.”
2. “Thank you.”
3. “Do what’s right.”
4. “It’s my fault.”
