15 Minutes of Fame: Carmen Kontur Gronquist
A mayor of some small town in Oregon named Carmen Kontur Gronquist posted some myspace pics of her wearing lingerie.
What ensued was a MEDIA barnstorm and the "story" spread like wildfire all throughout the Internet, radio DJ morning radio filler, and celebrity gossip talk shows.
It certainly is a great way for a major to great free publicity and become an overnight sensation, if not a lightning rod for controversy.
Speaking of "trends", I noticed that everyone just copies and pastes Fox News' story over and over again- without even showing the black bra and panties lingerie pic. I was finally able to find one at 2:14 PM, but won't post it here, quick frankly because she's ugly. I linked it in her name in my first sentence if you want to see it.

Hmmm, by this criteria, Arnie never should've been allowed to be Gov. We've seen him naked!! And Bill Clinton has been photographed in swimming trunks!! What is this world coming to?!!!!! ;)
