15 Minutes of Fame: Carmen Kontur Gronquist
A mayor of some small town in Oregon named Carmen Kontur Gronquist posted some myspace pics of her wearing lingerie.
What ensued was a MEDIA barnstorm and the “story” spread like wildfire all throughout the Internet, radio DJ morning radio filler, and celebrity gossip talk shows.
It certainly is a great way for a major to great free publicity and become an overnight sensation, if not a lightning rod for controversy.
Speaking of “trends”, I noticed that everyone just copies and pastes Fox News‘ story over and over again- without even showing the black bra and panties lingerie pic. I was finally able to find one at 2:14 PM, but won’t post it here, quick frankly because she’s ugly. I linked it in her name in my first sentence if you want to see it.
